Aauwena arts/Thelma’s One Culture Art Gallery/Cafe is a promoter, producer, marketer and seller of artifacts such as unique bark and sisal woven mats, hats, bags, belts, jewelry, traditional stools,traditional artifacts, African attire,tie and dye, batiks, wooden and stone carvings, metal sculptures, paintings, bead-work, recycled and up-cycled (glass bottle) products and various other products. Aauwena Arts was formed for the sole purpose of promoting artists, established and non established artists with the emphasis of rural women artists. Aim being to have art as their  form of living. Aauwena arts is a registered non profit organisation as well as Thelma’s One Art Gallery/Cafe. The organisation is registered in Zimbabwe Africa. We have activities such as WORKSHOPS. Aauwena undertakes various artistic workshops at their art gallery eg recycling, self sustainance, sourcing of materials, production, marketing, just to mention a few.

Cafe

Whilst you shop around you can sit down for a cup of herbal tea, other teas, coffee, cappuccino, maheu, or hot chocolate drink, soft drinks. A slice of cake,scones, rolls, mini pizzas and sandwiches can accompany your beverages. Homemade whole wheat healthy filling bread and rolls are available. Traditional meal can be privately arranged in advance to compliment our cultural homestead. Take away available.

Training

Training goes on at the said establishment, and moving with technology availing training online. Training available is jewelry making, weaving, carving, tie and dye and other different artistic creations
